Quality Assurance Manager /Assistant (Rawang)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the warehouse, product storage and production lines are run smoothly and at efficiency standards. 

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for delivering the optimum quality of a company’s services or goods.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, packaging, and reliability before delivery.
• Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
• Oversees product development procedures to ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards. 
• Communicates quality standards and parameters to the QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
• Monitoring and controlling the production process from raw materials/ ingredient intake to new packaging.
• To ensure that all processing meets rigorous standards of quality and hygiene.
• Inspecting and testing foods/products and production processes
• Establish quality control processes and procedures for evaluating and receiving food components from suppliers.
• Handling documentation for HACCP, GMP, MESTI, and ISO 22000
• Handling HACCP, GMP, and MESTI surveillance audits every year
• Food Safety Management System ( FSSC 22000 ) and other quality control schemes that apply to food products.
• Responsibilities on compliance audit GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and HALAL system.
• Review existing policies and plan how to improve quality management systems.

Requirement

• Minimum SPM level or Diploma/Degree in Quality Control/ Assurance, Foods Technology, Engineering Food, Halal compliance or equivalent qualification with relevant foods manufacturing working experience.
• At least 5 years experience with quality-related products.
• Able to lead and supervise a team of QA inspectors.
• Knowledge in product inspection and testing.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, problem-solving and self-motivation.
• Systematic and positive problem-solving approach.
